Getting Started
What is The Teton Scroll?
The Teton Scroll is your window into Teton County government. We collect, organize, and make searchable thousands of public government documents—meeting minutes, resolutions, ordinances, and more.
Instead of spending hours digging through PDFs and scattered archives, you can search our database and ask questions in plain English.

Using the AI Research Assistant
The Ask page is where the magic happens. Simply type a question in plain English:
- "What decisions has the county made about short-term rentals?"
- "When was the last time the planning commission discussed the affordable housing fund?"
- "Who spoke at the BCC meeting about the new road project?"
The assistant will search our document database and provide an answer with citations. Every claim is linked to the source document so you can verify it yourself.
Tips for better results:
- Be specific about what you want to know
- Include relevant names, dates, or topics if you know them
- Ask follow-up questions to dig deeper
