FAQ
What documents are available?
We currently index public documents from Teton County government, including:
- Board of County Commissioners (BCC) meeting minutes, agendas, and packets
- Planning & Zoning Commission meeting records
- Resolutions and ordinances passed by county government
- Public hearing records and testimony
- START Bus transit documents
We're continuously adding more document types and expanding our coverage.
How current is the information?
Our system automatically scans for new documents daily. Most documents appear in our database within 24-48 hours of being published by the county.
For breaking news or information about meetings happening today, we recommend checking the county's official website directly.
How does the AI assistant work?
When you ask a question, our system:
- Searches our database of documents to find relevant passages
- Analyzes the context using AI (powered by Claude)
- Synthesizes an answer from the source material
- Cites every claim with links to the original documents
The AI doesn't make things up—every answer is grounded in actual government documents. If we can't find relevant information, we'll tell you.
Is the information accurate?
We take accuracy seriously. Every answer includes citations so you can verify the information yourself. However, please note:
- The AI may occasionally misinterpret complex legal or technical language
- Documents may contain errors from the original source
- Our database may not include every relevant document
For important decisions, always verify information with official county sources.
