- Man reported stumbling near Maverick/South Park Loop not found. At 19:50 units were sent for a welfare check on a man in his 50s, gray hoodie under a black jacket, seen possibly exiting a vehicle near the Maverick on South 89 and reportedly trying to walk up the butte toward High School View. Two units searched; UTL and clear at 20:22.
- Cache Street closed for paving; buses rerouted much of the day. A driver reported the Cache/Kelly intersection closed at 08:22; by 14:54 Cache was closed from south of the Center for the Arts to Carnes for fresh asphalt. By 15:09 Hanson was open from Cache as a detour. Bus operations (TG 1812/1820) rerouted around the work into the evening.

Also on the air
A heavy but routine traffic-enforcement day: roughly 37 plate checks and 14 records checks, mostly along S. US-89, WY-22 and South Park Loop, with several verbal warnings (speed, registration, stop sign) and one semi with an Illinois trailer plate that wouldn't return registration. Fire/EMS also ran a Taylor Mountain prescribed-burn crew (07:54), an approved one-time open burn on Aspen Drive (09:56), and a commercial water-flow alarm at the high school storage building at 14:57 that turned out to be system testing. School-bus channels spent the afternoon sorting kids who missed stops or boarded the wrong bus — all handed off to parents, school staff or the rec center. Two loose-dog calls in the evening (one picked up near Melody Ranch and taken toward the shelter; a chihuahua on Snow King Ave referred to non-emergency), a theft report from the Super 8 (21:16), a destruction-of-property report on Snow King Loop (17:38), and a 911 open line on East Snow King attributed to known line issues, cleared code 4 at 21:48.
By the numbers
- 1,522 transmissions across 453 exchanges (206 short status-only exchanges omitted from the log).
- Busiest talkgroup: TG 1801 Teton County law dispatch (817 transmissions); busiest hour: 16:00–17:00 (200).
- Categories: status 171, unclassified 166, plate-check 37, transit 19, medical 17, records-check 14, fire 11, traffic-complaint 7, alarm 3, welfare 2, traffic-stop 2, domestic 1, animal 1, hazard 1, 911-open-line 1.
Caveats
- Not all of this is Teton County: TG 13751 is Fremont County EMS paging (11+ Lander/Riverton/Dubois pages, including a Highway 789 grass fire), and TG 109/6386 carried WHP/statewide traffic from Evanston, Rock Springs and Green River (a rollover near Evanston at 14:02, two semis rear-ended on I-80 at 18:08). None of that is local.
- Transcription quality was poor on unit numbers, plates and some addresses; a 19:44 exchange logged as "clear to assault" (categorized domestic) is too garbled to characterize, as is a 12:45–12:50 TG 1814 exchange that may involve a rescue helicopter returning to its hangar. Lines marked [suspect] below are low-confidence.
- TG 1812 and TG 6599 are unidentified in the system; context strongly suggests school-bus operations and a WYDOT/Teton Pass maintenance channel respectively, but labels are unconfirmed.
