On Nov. 9, the Planning Commission is set to review Suzanne Lagerman’s request to shrink a side structure setback from 10 feet to 3 feet for the Hoback Junction Water and Sewer District’s water treatment facility, with staff recommending approval and a no off-site parking conditi
The Teton County Planning Commission is scheduled to review a variance request from Suzanne Lagerman (Nelson Engineering) to cut the side structure setback in the Auto-Urban Commercial zone from 10 feet to 3 feet for a Hoback Junction Water and Sewer District water treatment facility structure, under Land Development Regulations Section 8.8.2. meeting agenda. In the staff report, the planning director recommends approval with one condition, that all parking stay on-site, and notes the adjacent landowner, the Wyoming Department of Transportation, did not object “as long as no parking is permitted” on its property staff report packet. Staff say the setback reduction is tied to easement limitations and an effort to keep the building within previously disturbed ground and avoid removing mature vegetation.
The earlier record on this facility shows the Board of County Commissioners considered (Sept. 1) a request to waive about $13,616 in county permit fees connected to the district’s water system improvements, including a variance permit fee, but that report did not document an outcome on the setback question itself fee waiver staff report.
