CPR call at Sage Living Center, downtown threat check and dog struck on US-89 mark an alarm-heavy Saturday

Full-code CPR response at Sage Living Center (01:56).

Top stories

  • Full-code CPR response at Sage Living Center (01:56). Dispatch paged Engine 11, Medic 10 and the duty officer to the Sage Living Center for CPR in progress on the second floor, with secondary tones for Engine 12 and Medic 20 (TG 1807). Engine 11 stood down all additional resources at 02:07; patient outcome was not stated on air.
  • Threat call prompts downtown area check (01:32). An RP told dispatch a male from an earlier PI call had threatened to come to his former residence on West Deloney and assault him, with possibly three to four other males en route and unknown weapons access. Multiple units checked the area (TG 1801); dispatch stressed it was an area check only since the RP no longer lives there, and units cleared code 4 without reported contact.
  • Dog struck on US-89 near Big Trail, lane blocked (21:55). Dispatch reported a vehicle-versus-canine collision on South US-89 near Big Trail with southbound lane blockage. WHP was unable to respond — extended from Pinedale — so a sheriff's unit (2222) took the outside-agency assist at 22:20, meeting the RP, reportedly in a white Tesla.
  • Elk down on WY-22 overnight (00:21). A unit reported a bull elk down and stuck on the highway near WY-22 and Green Lane [suspect — road name unclear], apparently after being struck by a vehicle; occupants were out of the vehicle and the officer stood by. No injuries reported on air.
  • Two fire alarms, no fires. Engine 7-1 and the duty officer answered a commercial water-flow alarm at a West Deer Drive storage facility at 00:45; at 01:03 crews traced it to a failed sprinkler-system air compressor and left the sprinkler system out of service. At 04:18 Engine 6-1 checked a residential fire alarm on North Crab Road [suspect] at a ~7,000 sq ft home under construction; nothing found, cleared 04:48 with a key holder.
  • Warrant arrest after expired-plate stop (21:12). A stop near Scheels/Broadway [suspect — location garbled] on a green Silverado with an expired local plate turned up an active local warrant (FTA, with DUI history and probation violation notes; $1,500 cash/surety bond). One male was transported to jail at 21:23.

Also on the air

A busy records night: roughly 41 plate and driver's-license checks and 10 traffic stops, nearly all ending in verbal warnings for speed, headlights or signal violations. Three jail transports between midnight and 02:00 (two male, one female), with bond conditions read on air at 00:03 and a PBT of .033 logged at 00:21. Two burglar alarms (a commercial motion alarm at 01:27 and a residence on North Prickly Pear Lane at 05:15) both cleared secure. WHP's statewide dispatch phones went down around 03:40 and were restored by 03:57. Daytime traffic included a welfare check at Pioneer Homestead (canceled minutes later), a parking complaint on Veronica Lane, a noise complaint at Blair Place, found-property pickup at the PD, and a driving complaint about a START bus on WY-390. Game & Fish ran check stations at Alpine and in the Gros Ventre drainage. START buses dealt with Gros Ventre/Jean construction closures, a truck-and-trailer pinch point at Simpson and Gros Ventre, and two moose near the road by Bear Drive [suspect]. Four regional BOLOs came over WyoLink, including a suicidal-subject attempt-to-locate and a runaway juvenile out of Natrona County; none were reported located here.

  • Busiest hour: 01:00–02:00 with 150 transmissions; 20:00–21:00 second at 77.

Caveats

  • Machine transcription garbled many road names, unit numbers and locations tonight ("Green Lane," "Crab Road," the 21:12 stop location); treat specific street names marked [suspect] as approximate.
  • A large share of the day's medical traffic — all 13 ambulance pages on TG 13751, including the 14:07 injury crash on WY-28 at milepost 41 — is Fremont County (Lander/Riverton/Dubois), not Teton County. TG 109 traffic (Farson, Evanston, Rock Springs complaints) is statewide WHP.
  • TG 1420 is unidentified; the 17:22 ambulance transport to the Alpine ER is likely Lincoln County traffic. The outcome of the Sage Living Center call was never stated on air.
