  • Evening cluster of fire alarms, none real. 17:26: Engine 2-1 to a residential CO alarm on Cutthroat Trout Road — no hazards found, clear 17:42. 18:04: residential fire alarm on W. "Heck of a Hill" Road [suspect road name] grew to six-plus activations at one location; Battalion 1 upgraded Engine 2-1's response before arriving to find nothing showing — cleared 18:25 as a cooking incident. 18:16: Teton Village FD paged to the Snake River Lodge & Spa on Granite Loop Road for a commercial alarm, stood down at 18:20.
  • Bus drivers track speeding SUV through downtown. From 15:19 transit drivers (TG 1812) relayed a white SUV on Colorado rental plates "flying" south past the Chevron on N. Cache, then west on Broadway, reportedly running the light at the five-way and making a U-turn; dispatch passed it to law enforcement, and at 15:26 TG 1801 aired the complaint with a roughly six-minute delay. Also on the air

A steady routine day: roughly two dozen plate checks and 11 records checks (all returning clear/valid), three traffic stops ending in verbal warnings, motorist assists on Highway 22 (near the truck ramp 10:29, at the summit 10:39, a vehicle pushed off High School Road by the high school at 08:19–08:23), parking complaints on W. Broadway and Redmond Street, a fraud walk-in for a Twin Creek Ranch Road case, a lost-ring property follow-up, a VIN inspection, a prisoner/transport run to Swan Valley and back (08:30–11:09), and a suspicious-person call at an East Broadway construction site at 21:00 that turned out to be an employee. Transit channels were busy with a coolant leak that forced a bus swap at the Munger lot (~07:56), a balky door, AVL/head-sign glitches, a lost phone, and detours around town construction; the Park Service warned of up to 10-minute delays on the stretch into Moran Junction. Late alarms at Stone Drug (21:07, unlocked front door, keyholder responded) and a Hoopgrass Road residence (22:48, wrong passcode; property manager found nothing amiss) both cleared, and a deputy worked a 23:28 report of a worker stranded at Heart Six Ranch.

Busiest hour: 19:00 (194 transmissions), with a secondary peak at 15:00 (170). By category: medical 44, plate-check 24, records-check 11, traffic-complaint 9, transit 9, crash 8, domestic 5, welfare 5, traffic-stop 3, hazard 3, fire 2, alarm 2, animal 2, suspicious 1, plus 175 status and 213 unclassified. 274 short status-only exchanges were omitted from the detailed log.

Caveats

  • Significant out-of-county traffic in today's log: TG 13751 is Fremont County EMS paging (Lander — 43 transmissions, including a cardiac arrest and several transfers), and TG 109/113/6386 carried WHP and mutual-aid broadcasts from Rock Springs, Evanston, Afton, Lyman and Cheyenne, including two armed/suicidal-subject BOLOs and an injury crash near Afton. None of that is Jackson-area activity.
  • Machine transcription is rough: road and proper names are unreliable ("Heck of a Hill Road," "Coudar Motel," "Black Creek" vs. Flat Creek, "Wyoming 391" likely WY-390), several blocks are Whisper artifacts ("Subtitles by Amara.org," an 18:35 looped "Units" on TG 109), and lines marked [suspect] are low confidence.
  • The 13:19/13:38 medical calls (Pearl & King fall; Jean & Simpson unresponsive female) end with "no need for medics" — the transcript is garbled as to which call was canceled and why.
