Unresponsive 2½-year-old at Sweet Spirits Preschool.
Top stories
- Unresponsive 2½-year-old at Sweet Spirits Preschool. At 12:00, Medic 10, Engine 11 and a battalion chief (TG 1807) plus town units (TG 1801) were paged to the preschool at 145 E. Pearl Ave. for a toddler described as not alert, not awake, not responding to touch; staff reported a facial injury the day before, lethargy today, and that they had been unable to reach the parents. Crews were on scene by 12:03; fire units began clearing by 12:06. Final disposition was not stated on the air.
- Morning pediatric and overdose calls. At 08:33 Medic 10 and Teton Village First Responders were paged to Rachel Way, Teton Village, for a 2-year-old who fell roughly eight stairs with blood in his mouth; the call cleared as a patient refusal at 09:12. At 08:40 Medic 20 and Battalion 1 ran a Delta-level possible overdose at a Blair Place apartment — a 24-year-old male found unconscious with blue color change; units were back available by ~09:12 with no outcome aired.
- School bus with smoking brakes coming off Teton Pass. At 17:54 dispatch broadcast a driving complaint for an older school bus eastbound on WY-22 from about mile 6.6 whose brakes had been smoking "since the first runaway ramp." A WHP trooper (TG 6386) cleared UTL at 18:23 after the RP reported the bus made it into town.
- Overnight altercation ends in probation-violation arrest. Following an altercation reported around 00:54, deputies interviewed a man at travel trailers on the south side of town (location garbled in transcript) starting ~01:55; at 02:00 a Texas truck plate was called a match for the suspect vehicle. After a voluntary PBT of .07, the man was arrested on a probation violation at ~02:17 and was en route to jail at 02:21.
- Three fire-alarm responses, all cleared. Engine 11 and Battalion 3 swept multiple buildings at the Rockwell hotel on N. Cache St. after a 06:40 commercial fire alarm — nothing showing, alarm reset by ~06:50. Teton Village fire checked a residential alarm on W. Morley Drive at 14:59 (unfounded; system silenced before arrival) and a reported main-level hall smoke activation at the Snow Ridge Condos at 19:28 (crews clear by ~19:35).
- Two serious reckless-driving reports late. At 21:38 a blue Audi S4 was reported southbound on US-89 from High School Road at 100+ mph, weaving through traffic (relayed statewide via TG 113 at 21:41). At 22:35 a maroon late-'70s Chevy/GMC pickup was reported swerving all over WY-22 westbound from the Snake River Bridge. No stop was reported on air for either.
Also on the air
A steady routine day: 49 medical-category exchanges (many of them Fremont County paging traffic), including a 69-year-old with breathing trouble at Hotel Terra (07:47, transported to St. John's), a 14-year-old with a dislocated kneecap at the base of High School Butte (15:31, transported), and a choking call on Coulter Avenue (18:30, transported). Overnight officers ran a string of traffic stops ending in verbal warnings, plus 30 plate checks and 27 records checks through the day. Repeat alarm activations at a Tucker Ranch Road residence (00:33 and 13:47) were put on hold; a Valencia Storage alarm was operator error. A 03:37 report of hour-long "screaming" near a guest cabin resolved at 03:59 when the caller learned what local wildlife — apparently elk — sounds like at night; a school-route driver reported a moose jam at the Moose bridge at 08:10. Other texture: shoplifting standby at Smith's (16:17), a smoking van at the TJ Maxx entrance (10:22), a Cowboy Bar disturbance (23:34, subject left before contact), repeat handicapped-spot parking complaints at the Timbers, a civil standby completed at 19:40, and START buses working a new Broadway–Redmond construction detour that left commuters waiting at the hospital stop around 17:20.

- Busiest hour: 19:00–20:00 with 220 transmissions.
- Categories: unclassified 311, status 263, medical 49, plate-check 30, records-check 27, traffic-complaint 23, transit 19, suspicious 6, noise-parking 6, traffic-stop 5, crash 4, fire 3, alarm 3, animal 3, welfare 1.
Caveats
- Significant non-Teton traffic in today's log: TG 13751 is Fremont County EMS paging (Lander/Riverton/Dubois — including 14:47–14:57 fire pages for Up East Fork Road), TG 109 is statewide WHP (mostly I-80 Rock Springs/Lyman/Evanston), and TG 1404 appears to be Afton/Lincoln County. The 23:34 deer-strike crash was at Cokeville, not Teton County.
- Heavy Whisper garble throughout: several road and place names (the overnight arrest location, "Clarksboro Lane," "King Eider," "Ohlone") and some unit numbers are unreliable; transcript also contains caption-credit hallucinations. TG 1812 is unlabeled but is clearly school-district bus operations; TG 0 (unidentified, 12:10–12:48 phone-trace sequence) may not be Teton County traffic.
- Outcomes for the preschool call and the Blair Place overdose were never stated on air; absence of a transport report is not confirmation of outcome.
