Commissioners to weigh $120,378 well-drilling deal for South Park RV dump

Teton County commissioners on Monday are set to consider a $120,377.74 contract with Weber Water and Well to drill and test a new public water-supply well for the South Park Landing RV dump station agenda. The well is intended to serve the dump station plus a water fill point and washdown, and it is also sized with future park amenities in mind, including restrooms and irrigation, according to the staff report packet.

Public Works staff say awarding the bid quickly would allow drilling this fall and help the county use remaining American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) State and Local Fiscal Recovery funds that were dedicated to the project in late 2024. The packet notes the work will be regulated and permitted through Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality and the State Engineer’s Office, and that the final payment can change because several bid items are unit-priced and depend on actual drilling depth and testing needs packet.
