At 21:50 a game warden on TG 6403 cleared "that moose call," saying a calf was put down and the carcass removed from the northbound side.
• Busy day and night on WY-22. Midday: a black bear at Browns curve drew a traffic jam needing deputy traffic control and a Fish & Game callout (12:03), while START drivers reported traffic crawling from Spring Gulch to town amid one-way guardrail construction above Wilson (12:31). Evening: a driving complaint of a dark SUV drifting into oncoming near MM 16 (20:35), then a disabled small SUV on the fog line at the summit with a Spanish-speaking driver (21:22); WYDOT and deputies arranged tows near MM 12 — a Toyota Sienna with front-end damage and a maroon Dodge SUV tagged and left safely off the road by 22:43 [details suspect; possibly two vehicles]. A collision was also dispatched "Green Gold Road just north of 22" at 17:02 [road name suspect], outcome not logged.
• Helicopters over the valley (10:05–11:28). SAR Rescue 22 flew a training exercise from the SAR hangar toward Glory/"Great Whitehawk" area, pilot plus three; dispatch advised a separate park helicopter was slinging a cache down from the lower saddle near Lupine Meadows. • Substantial non-Teton traffic in today's log: TG 13751 is Fremont County EMS paging (Lander/Riverton/Fort Washakie, including a false school fire alarm on Blue Sky Highway), TG 109 is statewide WHP (Evanston/Rock Springs I-80 complaints, including a trucker mental-health crisis at I-80 MM 19), and TG 6386/6586 carried a Rock Springs-area I-80 MM 141 crash (Amazon truck vs. semi, one person transported, 100–150 ft of cable-barrier damage) and loose cattle on WY-412 — none of it Teton County.
• Whisper garbling is heavy: "rolling meniscus" (rolling medical), "hair sprayed" (bear sprayed), "the Athens" (likely the Aspens), "Green Gold Road," and many unit numbers/plates should be treated as approximate; low-confidence lines are marked [suspect].
