Small fire knocked down at for-sale Moose Street home; overnight knife-threat disturbance cleared in Jackson

• Exterior fire at a vacant, for-sale home on Moose Street. At 14:01 Engine 11, Medic 10 and Battalion 2 (TG 1807) were paged for a small fire with flames 2–3 feet high near grass, trees, paint and construction materials; a passerby walking her dog reported it, no one home. Fire was under control by 14:07, the address was corrected on air from 245 to 250, command terminated at 14:21, and the scene was turned over to a responsible party at 14:33 after dispatch reached the listing contact.
• Knife-threat disturbance in Jackson overnight. At 00:24 dispatch (TG 1801) sent units to an apartment on "North Rachel Way" [suspect transcription] where a male was reportedly threatening to kill the RP, was highly intoxicated, and had access to a kitchen knife; seven people were in the unit. Units reported code four by 00:49 and cleared the residence around 01:21; one garbled line ("clear to assault") suggests an assault-related disposition but the transcription is unreliable.
• Stolen plate hit on Highway 89. At 17:21 an Oregon plate on a gray/blue Toyota returned stolen out of California (Oakland PD; rear plate taken from a 2026 Corolla). The vehicle initially failed to yield on 89 south of town (~17:27) but stopped; the driver's records came back clear/valid and units confirmed the plate matched the stolen report. Final disposition not clearly transmitted.
• Reported distressed scream in Bridger-Teton forest off Highway 26. At 20:10 a deputy checked the Flagstaff Road area for what sounded like a hunter's distressed scream; a drone was being brought up at 20:31. At 23:21 a unit reported campers in the area had heard the noise, everything code four, cleared.
• Downtown closures scrambled buses all day. Broadway (roughly Willow to Moran) and Moran Street were closed from the morning, forcing school buses (TG 1812) and START (TG 1820) into improvised detours near St. John's from ~06:53 through the evening; a semi also blocked Gregory Lane at High School Road at 08:21, and Gregory was reported completely closed by Mavericks at 21:23.
• Highway 89/Hoback traffic. A two-vehicle T-bone (Lexus/Jeep) at South 89 and Smith at 11:59, no injuries, handed to Highway Patrol with a tow for the Jeep. An oversized semi got stuck in the Hoback Junction roundabout at 13:14, cleared down the canyon by 13:24; a second large load went through with traffic control at 14:24.

• Not all traffic is Teton County: TG 13751 (49 transmissions) is Fremont County EMS paging out of Lander; TG 109/113/6586 carried WHP and highway traffic from Green River, Rock Springs, Cokeville and I-80; the Star Valley Ranch bear call is Lincoln County. These are excluded from the incident log except where they touch local roads.
• Machine transcription is rough today: several road names ("North Rachel Way," "Barter Lane," "McLeod Road," "East Ohlone") and the 00:42 "clear to assault" line are low-confidence; unit numbers may be wrong.
• Near-zero traffic 02:20–05:05 (nothing logged in the 3 o'clock hour) — likely a quiet night rather than an outage, but a coverage gap can't be ruled out. TG 1812 is formally unidentified but clearly carries school-bus operations.
