Driver hurt in Elk Refuge Road rollover; fire crews twice check smoke reports at South US-89 construction yard

• Rollover on Elk Refuge Road; driver had already called a wrecker, not police. At 15:02 dispatch sent Battalion 1, Medic 10, Engine 11 and deputies (TG 1801/1807) to a small hatchback overturned in the curve just before the Miller House, first reported unoccupied. Unit 755 stopped a maroon minivan at the refuge entrance and found the driver with small cuts to his arm; a passenger had already been taken to the hospital by another driver. No hazards at the vehicle; a Palisades wrecker on scene at 15:26 said the driver called for a tow at 14:50 and texted that he had not reported the crash to police.
• Two fire responses to the Evans Construction yard on South US-89. A 15:39 report of a vehicle fire drew Battalion 1, Engines 3-1/7-1 and Truck 3-7; command found nothing and declared it a false report at 15:56. A second call at 18:39 for heavy white smoke brought Battalion 1, Engines 7-1 and 11; "Evans Command" traced it to a heated asphalt binder tank venting normally and cleared all units at 19:13.
• SAR helicopter Rescue 22 flew a backcountry operation at Smoky Hollow. Between 12:47 and ~15:20 (TG 1814/1801) the ship made repeated flights from the SAR hangar, inserting a pilot-plus-three crew at Smoky Hollow, later extracting the group; a hunter on scene was told to stay 200 yards from the LZ. Earlier TG 1801 traffic (09:53–10:05) referenced a Forest Service backcountry call and a man who "found the person"; the mission's exact nature is not clear from the log.
• Sedan vs. tree on Boyles Hill [suspect road name]. Reported 06:21; vehicle found unoccupied with airbag deployment, ~5 feet off the road in an irrigation ditch, no blockage. The responding deputy asked at 06:53 that the damaged tree be cut down because it could fall onto the road.
• Injury collision on Teton Village Road near WY-390. At 12:41 units were sent for a crash with possible injuries involving a white Jeep and a GMC Yukon; follow-up records checks ran through ~13:49. Final disposition not stated on air.
• Arrow shot through Fire Station 7's mass-casualty trailer. At 16:02 Battalion 1 asked for an officer for destruction of property after someone apparently put an arrow through the MCI trailer; a deputy was sent at 16:13 to take the report.

A midnight residential fire alarm on a South Snowflake/"Stonefly" address [suspect] was a confirmed false alarm by 00:50; a Teton Village commercial alarm (11:17) turned out to be unlocked doors, and a late residential burglary alarm off Spring Gulch (22:59) was complicated by a second locked gate. A vehicle reported stolen near Jackson Elementary at 12:12 was found legally parked — the owner had left it on a race-day closure. A lost purse tracked by AirTag up Moose-Wilson Road (13:41) was returned by 13:56; a fox stuck near a cattle guard freed itself before WYDOT arrived (14:36). Deputies shadowed a box truck cooling overheated brakes coming off the pass (15:03) and covered a camper blocking WY-22 near MM 12 until WHP arrived from Pinedale (14:34). START buses ran detours all day for street sealing on Alpine Way and High School Road (reopened by evening). Also: a suspicious-person check on Buffalo Way ending in a pedestrian warning, a cold car-wash collision report, a theft report at the Four Seasons, an East Kelly Avenue noise complaint, and a late-night citizen assist for a woman who believed she was being followed (resolved without incident).

Caveats

• Heavy transcription noise: the midnight fire-alarm street came through three ways (Snowflake/Snowfield/Stonefly), "Boyles Hill" and several unit numbers are uncertain, and many [suspect] lines were unusable. The purpose of the Smoky Hollow SAR flights was never stated on air.
• TG 13751 is Fremont County EMS paging (seven Lander-area calls today, including a park overdose and a Taco John's gas leak) and TG 109/113 carried statewide WHP and mutual-aid traffic mostly for I-80 and Sweetwater/Lincoln/Fremont counties — none of it is Teton County activity.
• Very light traffic 04:00–06:00 (12 transmissions) may reflect a genuine lull or a receive gap; TG 1814 is unidentified but clearly carried SAR air operations today.
