Woman hurt in early-morning assault at a Jackson motel — officers had checked the same building four hours earlier

• Assault with injury at a Jackson motel, W. Pearl/Westboro area, 07:34. Dispatch sent two PD units plus county backup to the Antler Inn, room 148, for two guests in an altercation; staff reported an open door and blood on the sheets. At 07:42 an officer asked for a medic for the female half, reporting a possible broken nose and loss of consciousness; Medic 10 was paged at 07:45 and the call was coded domestic violence at 07:47. Medic 10 cleared at 07:54 "no patient." A county supervisor was requested to the scene at 08:36; a follow-up at 10:11 found no one in the related room.
• Overnight call to the same motel, corrected on air. At 03:43 an RP reported hearing a child yelling for help and someone pulling them back into a room. The reporting party's room was first given as 236; at 03:53 an officer corrected it to 146. Officers walked the complex, contacted the RP at 04:02 and reported nothing seen or heard; the call cleared at 04:07. When day shift asked at 07:42–08:01 whether the two calls were linked, dispatch said it could not be confirmed.
• Search and rescue helicopter flew twice, both times without an ambulance. Rescue 22 lifted from the SAR hangar at 08:26 with three on board for a reported lower-leg injury in the Death Canyon area (TG 1814), landed at the patient site at 08:38, and departed a pickup spot transcribed as Fox Creek at 08:55 with pilot plus four; the crew added "ambulance not needed." A second mission launched into the park at 13:44, coordinating with park dispatch, and the aircraft was back at the hangar by 16:09.
• Missing juvenile reported at Hoback, found in about 20 minutes. At 17:21 a deputy reported a missing person out of the Hoback Market area; the child was last seen on Gregory Lane about 16:30. Deputies checked the bike path from Hoback to Jackson and PD checked town parks. At 17:33 a unit located the juvenile at the Jackson Hole Land Trust property; at 17:41 the juvenile was released to his mother at Smith's and the call cleared.
• Moose jams closed down traffic on WY-390 twice. A START driver reported at 13:25 that a bull moose was in the pond across the highway from Rabbit Row and that people were crossing the highway between stopped cars. Dispatch put out an all-units wildlife advisory at 13:30; WHP/WYDOT broadcast a traffic complaint at MP 5 at 13:35 and turned it over to a deputy already on scene, who reported traffic moving at 13:36. A second complaint went out at 17:46 with people standing about 10 feet from a moose crossing the road. A separate Game & Fish moose call ran from about 19:42 to 20:06: a collared cow moose was checked and found fine, a second report of a moose with a PVC pipe in its antlers on N. Moose-Wilson Road was not confirmed, and the animal was pushed off the road.
• Smoke near Hoback Junction turned out to be a burn pile. Engines 31 and 71 and Battalion 3 were paged at 19:53 for an investigative fire near Hoback Junction and Hoback Junction South Road after several RPs reported heavy white smoke and no flames. A firefighter on scene reported a burn pile at 20:04; stand-down pages went out at 20:06 and 20:07, then Engine 31 was requested back at 20:09 to put water on it.
• Two erratic-driver lookouts from Teton County, Idaho. At 13:36 dispatch broadcast a report of a silver-gray Nissan Altima with California plates that struck a guardrail on Pine Creek Pass and was continuing eastbound toward WY-22, unable to hold a lane, with a female driver and a dog; WHP rebroadcast it at 13:45 and a Teton unit took it. A second report at 17:41–17:46 described a silver Chevy pickup towing a trailer loaded with tires, Idaho plate, leaving Victor eastbound and nearly causing head-on collisions. No stop or outcome for either vehicle appears in the log.

Jackson Hole Fire/EMS handled roughly ten incident responses plus several airport flight-crew transfers (Medic 20 and Medic 50, 19:41 through 23:59). Six patients went to St. John's — a confused 75-year-old from a Rancher Street senior-housing building (03:42, Engine 11 assisting), a 66-year-old with numbness and a cardiac history who drove herself to Teton Outpatient Services (11:23), a 72-year-old stroke patient on N. Cache (14:49), an 88-year-old with chest pain at the Eagle's Rest condos in Teton Village (17:56, with Teton Village first responders paged in), a 60-year-old with chest pain outside the Four Winds Motel (18:46, Delta response), and a 78-year-old at the Lodge of Jackson Hole on Scott Lane reported as either an allergic reaction or a stroke (19:49). Two calls ended in refusals — a long-run response to a Buffalo Valley resort east of Moran, first paged as a panic attack at 01:55 and updated to vision and speech trouble, where crews found a stable patient who reported LSD use and declined transport at 02:58 — and a 70-year-old who collapsed on a Flint Creek Road address (17:22). A residential fall-detection alert on S. Singletree Drive (13:23) was confirmed a false alarm by the emergency contact at 13:31. At 08:46 dispatch put a moment-of-silence all-page over Fire/EMS for the 9/11 anniversary.

On the law side: three hit-and-run or cold-collision follow-ups (10:37, 13:34 at the high school, 17:33); a destruction-of-property follow-up at Maple Way and Smith Lane for slashed tires, with additional affected vehicles added to the case at 16:03; four parking complaints (S. WYDOT/WHP ran portable scales on WY-22 through the morning, logging at least three overweight gravel and dump trucks (72,350, 70,871 and 67,324 lbs) between 09:28 and 10:12, and took a reckless-driving complaint on a truck and trailer at WY-390/WY-22 at 10:48. START and school-bus channels were dominated by afternoon gridlock — traffic backed to the Aspens, to the fish hatchery and to Meadow Road, a road closure on Palomino Road in Melody Ranch forcing a reroute, and one bus ten minutes down from a moose jam at 16:34.

Caveats

• A large share of today's audio is not Teton County. TG 1404 (264 transmissions) is Lincoln County traffic (Afton, Alpine, Aetna, Thayne, Bedford); TG 13751 (71) is Lander/Fremont County EMS paging; TG 109 and TG 113 carried statewide WHP broadcasts from the Rock Springs, Evanston and Riverton areas, including a 02:11 lookout for a suicidal subject out of Utah and an air-ambulance LZ coordination sequence (14:15–15:59) whose location is never stated. None of those are counted as Teton incidents above.
• TG 1812, 1813 and 1814 are unlabeled. Content suggests 1812/1813 are school-district bus operations (bus barn, student handoffs, Colter and Jackson Elementary) and 1814 is SAR air operations; treat those attributions as inference, not fact.
• Transcription quality is uneven. Unit numbers are frequently mangled, the Eagle's Rest patient is described as both an 88-year-old male and female in the same incident, the Buffalo Valley resort name and the Flint/Slick/Split Creek Road name vary between transmissions, and the Antler Inn address is given three different ways.
