County to back 2.05-acre Granite Canyon swap inside Grand Teton

Teton County’s Board of County Commissioners is set to sign a support letter Sept. 14 for an in-kind land exchange where the National Park Service would acquire 2.05 acres from Granite Canyon, LLC, trading an equal-size parcel out of Grand Teton National Park’s holdings. The proposed letter says the exchange is within the park’s legislated boundary and is being evaluated as a “mutual interest” deal between the Park Service and Granite Canyon, LLC.
