Rescue 22 flies two SAR missions as cyclist suffers serious head injury on Gros Ventre Road

• Helicopter search for missing hiker in the Winds. From 08:49 to 14:48, SAR helicopter Rescue 22 flew out of the SAR hangar to Pinedale (TG 1814) supporting a Sublette County search near Mary's Lake, coordinating with Teton SAR coordinators on SAR-1. Ground clues included a reported sighting around 13:00 the previous day and a possible one-person bivvy site toward Titcomb/Thousand Island Lake [suspect on place names]; a cell-signal sweep produced one false positive. Crew refueled at Pinedale and returned to Jackson; no find reported on air.
• Cyclist with severe head injury below Lower Slide Lake. At 11:39 Medic 10 was paged to Gros Ventre Road just below Lower Slide Lake for a bicycle crash first aired as a 6-year-old with a head injury, corrected on air to a 60-year-old female with a severe head injury. Medic 10 transported to St. John's at 12:25.
• Second Rescue 22 mission: Table Mountain extraction. At 15:57 Rescue 22 lifted for Table Mountain; by 16:28 a SAR team had loaded a patient who declined an ambulance. The crew worked landing-zone problems at the Teton Canyon winter trailhead (no deputy available on the Alta side to shuttle) and set down in a field near the parking area around 16:42. A later transmission (17:56) described the day's Grovont-area SAR activity as training, so mission status is partly unclear.
• Reported vehicle-vs-cyclist on N US-89 ends with no patient. At 20:23 Medic 10 and officers responded across from Dairy Queen for a rider down near the refuge sign; a second caller upgraded it to possible vehicle vs. bicycle. Units passed a woman in a red flannel, face reportedly bloodied, who rode on and declined help; medics cleared with no patient at 20:30.
• Late-night lodging domestic; one adult taken to the PD. At 00:08 units responded to a room disturbance at a Spring Hill-sounding lodging property [suspect] — couple arguing, child in the room, both drinking, no weapons per RP. PBT readings were aired (.183, .029), a juvenile's mother was contacted on Flat Creek, a female was transported to the PD (not jail) at 00:52, and juveniles got a courtesy ride at 01:37.
• Downtown assault call, subject contacted. At 21:45 officers responded to an assault report near the Town Square bar district; the broadcast suspect was a ~30-year-old male who "goes by Batman," last seen near Lee's Tees. Cleared by 22:20 with a note that the subject is trespassed from St. John's and affiliates.

Caveats

• Nearly all fire traffic (9 exchanges) is TG 13751 — Fremont County EMS/fire paging out of Lander (two structure fires: Highway 26 at ~15:35 and Birchfield Lane off North Fork Road from 16:12, plus a vehicle fire) — not Teton County incidents. TG 109 traffic complaints are statewide WHP, mostly I-80 near Rock Springs.
• Transcription quality is poor: unit numbers drift within exchanges, place names are garbled ("H-Brest Drive," "Cudar," "Barbesee Ranch Road"), and the bike-crash patient's age flipped from 6 to 60 on air. Treat specifics as approximate.
• TG 1814 is unlabeled in the system but clearly carried SAR helicopter/IC traffic all day; whether the Table Mountain flight was a live mission or training is ambiguous from the log.
