One critical after rollover crash and vehicle fire closes Teton Pass at WY-22 milepost 2 for nearly three hours

• Serious crash with fire, WY-22 MM 2 (Heidelberg), Teton Pass closed ~20:00–22:44. Paged at 19:59 as a two-vehicle collision with injuries and one vehicle on fire; early reports of a person trapped and one thrown from a vehicle. On-scene units later corrected this to one vehicle with a large flatbed trailer hauling rocks that rolled, with two patients — one trauma red (critical), one trauma yellow. Multi-agency response on TG 1801/1807/1808: Battalion 2, Engines 6-1/2-1, Medics 10/60, Rescue 2-4, tender 6-7, sheriff's units, WHP, and Idaho Transportation Department managing the west-side closure. Air Idaho landed at the Stilson LZ at 20:29, but at 21:03 F-1 advised the critical patient had deteriorated (compressions started) and would go by ground; Medic 60 later transferred care to the Teton County coroner's-side unit "2290" per radio traffic. A Nixle public alert was requested at 20:30. Both lanes reopened at 22:44; gates confirmed up by ~22:57. An investigator was en route to the scene at 21:50.
• Cluster of carbon-monoxide alarms on the West Bank, 10:42–11:14. Three residential CO alarms in about five minutes (W Cutthroat Trout Rd, S Thunder Rd, S Fall Creek Rd) plus a combined burglary/fire alarm on W Pine Meadow Rd. A key holder reported a power surge in the area; crews found zero readings and no hazards, all units clear by ~11:14.
• Vehicle vs. bear, early morning. Reported 05:07 with the bear deceased in the travel lane; location garbled in transcription (possibly Hwy 22 near MM 13). By 05:43 a deputy advised the bear was ~50 yards up the embankment off the road near "Cole Canyon" [suspect] and the vehicle was gone; WYDOT was notified for carcass pickup.
• Single-vehicle crash, S US-89 near Evans Trailer Court, 07:10. A Jeep crossed all lanes and hit the ditch on the southbound side. Fire/EMS was paged, then stood down at 07:15 after the driver reported no injuries.
• Suspicious person at the hospital, 06:11. RP reported an agitated man confronted by security; dispatch flagged prior contacts for rapidly erratic behavior and that he is known to carry a firearm. Gone on arrival by 06:28; possibly driving a blue or green Audi hatchback, unknown plate.
• START bus mechanical, Teton Village, 16:38–17:41. Bus 43 developed an air-pressure/brake problem, was ordered held at Teton Village, and its passengers were transferred to an express bus that ran as the local; the driver was retrieved by supervisor vehicle. Later, the 20:58 pass closure forced another bus to empty and abandon its run.

Numerous plate/records checks and traffic stops, mostly ending in warnings, one citation; two cold school-bus-passing reports referred to the school district; school buses (TG 1812) reported two red-light violations by other drivers and spent the afternoon sorting student pickups; parking complaints downtown (blocked alley near the Pearl St post office, a van on E Simpson, a trailer on Millward); an elk herd noted along South Park Loop; a loose dog reunited with its owner; a follow-up search for a stolen vehicle along the levee; two "ready" (possible impaired driver) reports on South Park Loop in the evening, both gone on arrival; WYDOT crews tracking bear cubs in a dumpster area and an overweight-truck notice over Teton Pass.

Caveats

• TG 13751 is Fremont County (Lander/Riverton) EMS paging and TG 109/113 carry statewide WHP and mutual-aid traffic — the Jeffrey City crash, the Fort Washakie/Hwy 287 structure-fire pages (19:15–19:35, partially canceled), the Evanston stolen-tractor NCIC hit, and the many I-80 traffic complaints are not Teton County incidents.
• Whisper transcription is rough on street and unit names: "Rancher Street" (likely Rangeview?), "Cass Street" (likely Cache), and the bear-strike location are all uncertain; several exchanges and one found-property call (13:16, "drug found" on S US-89) are marked low-confidence.
• TG 1812 is unidentified but its content is consistent with school-district bus operations, not START.
