County locks in Gros Ventre Road snow removal at $100,832 for year one

Teton County commissioners approved a 2026-2031 Gros Ventre Road Snow Removal Project contract to Ridgeline Excavation, Inc. for $100,832.36 for the first season, with later years adjusted by the Wyoming Cost of Living Index commission minutes.

The staff report describes it as a five-year, annual-performance contract covering a 3.75-mile segment plus “four paved parking areas” and the Atherton Campground entrance/parking. The county says it negotiated a 0% increase from last winter because Ridgeline was the sole bidder and other contractors showed little interest, and it concluded doing the work in-house would require expensive equipment, storage space, and hard-to-hire operators snow removal contract packet.
