County to extend Semiquincentennial committee grant deadlines into late 2026

Teton County commissioners are set to approve a contract amendment that would give the county’s Semiquincentennial Committee more time to wrap up its state-funded work, extending the project performance period through Oct. 31, 2026, and moving the final report deadline to Nov. 30, 2026, per the amendment language in the Semiquincentennial Amendment Contract Resolution.

The amendment is with Wyoming State Parks and Cultural Resources and ties the extension to the committee’s administrative responsibilities (including the final report). For taxpayers, this is the kind of paperwork change worth watching because it is where accountability usually lives: commissioners should ask what deliverables remain unfinished, and what the county will accept as proof the work was completed before signing off on the later reporting date.
