The application describes a $210,000 retrofit that would swap six 2010-era metal halide fixtures for shielded LEDs. Staff say the upgrade would cut the field’s connected load from 69.7 kilowatts to 19.5 kilowatts, a 72% reduction, and reduce light spilling into Midtown homes, especially in winter when snow reflects glare Powderhorn Park LED packet.
