Visit Jackson Hole board to consider paying 100% of employee-only premiums

Visit Jackson Hole’s board is set to vote Thursday on a benefits package where the organization would cover the full cost of employee-only medical, dental, and vision insurance, and split the extra cost of dependent coverage 50-50 with employees Board Insurance Outline with WAM Packet.

For families, the big question is whether this makes it easier for a small local employer to keep staff in a high-cost place without shifting the whole burden onto employees who have kids. The proposal spells it out in plain terms: “Visit Jackson Hole will pay the full premium for employee-only medical, dental, and vision coverage,” and employees who add dependents would pay half of the additional premium for that higher tier of coverage.
