County board to consider $34,888 contract for indoor air quality sensors

Teton County commissioners on Tuesday are set to vote on a contract with 954 Consultants to purchase and install 14 Verkada SV25 indoor air quality sensors in county facilities, for an amount not to exceed $34,888.50 staff report.

Staff say the sensors support the county’s Sustainability Strategy goal to “maintain clean and healthy air in all County facilities,” and are part of a multi-year buildout that started in fiscal year 2024. Earlier Verkada sensors are already installed at several county sites, and Travel and Tourism Board funding has also been used to purchase sensors for the Rec Center and the Teton County Library, with those units expected to be online later this summer. This year’s priority locations include the Health Department and the Search and Rescue building, with the purchase coming from the Sustainability capital project line for “IAQ Monitors Phase 2.”
