County set to OK $63,750 juvenile services grant contract

Teton County commissioners are set to approve a $63,750 contract with the Wyoming Department of Family Services to run the local Community Juvenile Services Board program from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2028 grant contract packet.

If approved, the county’s clerk report says the grant award is shared between Climb Wyoming, the Hirschfield Center, and the Children’s Learning Center, with a $5,000 administrative fee built into the budget. The contract’s statement of work focuses on early identification and diversion of youth before they enter the juvenile court system, including a community-based diversion program through Teton Youth and Family Services, a local detention alternative at the Van Vleck Group Home for short-term holding (up to 72 hours), and prevention programming such as Camp POSTCard.
