County commissioners schedule FY2027 budget adoption vote for June 30

The Teton County Board of County Commissioners’ calendar shows a June 30 meeting to adopt the FY2027 budget, following a June 29 budget hearing. The vote will lock in final tax, fee, reserve, and capital decisions for the coming year.

Teton County commissioners are set to adopt the Fiscal Year 2027 budget at 9 a.m. June 30, according to the county’s published calendar County Commissioners’ calendar. The day before, the calendar lists a 9:15 a.m. budget hearing on June 29, which is the public’s clearest chance to push back on any last-minute spending adds or reserve draws.

If you are watching your property-tax bill, the June 30 adoption is the point where the numbers stop being “draft.” Earlier work sessions this spring covered joint department budgets and priorities, and the Town of Jackson has already adopted its own FY2027 budget. What is still hard to see in the public record is the final all-in total for Teton County government itself. That is the number to ask for on June 29 and June 30, along with the year-over-year change in the General Fund and any planned use of fund balance.
