The Board approved Whitaker Construction's CMAR contract amendment for the Teton Pass Trail early work package, locking in $794,798.88 for clearing, grubbing, tree removal and erosion control. The county says 80% of that cost is reimbursable through the federal BUILD grant, with the local share folded into the proposed FY2027 Fund 37 budget. The project is meant to keep walkers and cyclists off the narrow, busy WY-22 section between Trail Creek Campground and the WYDOT stockpile, according to the staff report on the Teton Pass Trail CMAR Contract and Amendment 1 for Early Work Package GMP.
