County adds up to $1 million more for Stilson Transit Center

The Board of County Commissioners approved up to another $1 million in 2022 Transportation Alternatives SPET funds for the Stilson Transit Center, bringing the county's total SPET support for the project to no more than $8,388,892. The extra money is meant to keep construction moving on the regional transit hub, which is scheduled to open in July.
The May 5 action came after staff said some federal BUILD grant dollars were shifted to professional services, leaving a funding gap for construction.
