County to close out FHWA safe streets grant

Teton County is set to approve Amendment No. 001 with FHWA to administratively close out the FY22 Safe Streets and Roads for All planning grant, ending the county's obligations on the completed safety action plan.

Teton County is set to approve Amendment No. 001 with the Federal Highway Administration FY22 Safe Streets and Roads for All Grant Program Staff Report to administratively close out the grant for the county and Town of Jackson safety planning effort. The amendment says the county has completed all required deliverables and releases further claims under the agreement.

The grant started as a $600,000 planning award, with $480,000 in federal funds and a local match covered by the Garaman Family Foundation, and the staff report says the Comprehensive Safety Action Plan was adopted June 2, 2025. FHWA has already reviewed and approved the closeout amendment, and staff is recommending approval.
