Housing Authority would give first responders top housing lottery priority

The Housing Authority will weigh whether First Responders should move to a separate top preference in weighted housing drawings, above the current extra-entry system for critical service providers.

The proposal is still under review, not settled, and the packet says the Housing Authority will evaluate the pros and cons before making a recommendation.
