Teton County to vote on FY27 visitor services contract with the Chamber

County commissioners, acting as the Lodging Tax Board, are set to approve a one-year FY27 visitor services agreement that would reimburse the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce up to $719,000 to run visitor info sites and staffing.

Teton County commissioners, sitting as the Lodging Tax Board on Thursday, are set to approve the FY27 Visitor Services Agreement with the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce and the Jackson Hole Travel and Tourism Board meeting agenda. The one year contract would run July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, and it would cap Jackson Hole Travel and Tourism Board funding for Chamber-run visitor services at $719,000.

On paper, this is about visitors, but it is also about who is staffing the counters, answering the phones, and holding down those seasonal, public-facing jobs. The agreement lists the visitor service locations the Chamber would run, including the Greater Yellowstone Visitor Center, the Chamber’s visitor information center, the Town Square summer location (weather permitting), and a visitor info station at the Jackson Hole Airport visitor services agreement. The Chamber would submit quarterly vouchers, and it would cover any cost overages itself.
