Willow Street fourplex would include 2 deed-restricted workforce units
Jackson’s Design Review Committee will review a fourplex plan that uses the 2:1 workforce housing bonus to put two deed-restricted workforce units alongside two market-rate units at 110 S. Willow St.
Two of the four homes proposed at 110 S. Willow St. would be deed-restricted workforce housing, under a plan headed to Jackson’s Design Review Committee on Wednesday, June 10. The applicant is seeking final Design Review Committee review for a four-unit building that “utiliz[es] the 2:1 Workforce Housing Bonus, including two deed-restricted workforce housing units and two (2) unrestricted market-rate units” agenda packet.
This is the kind of detail I watch because a “fourplex” can mean four market-rate units, or it can mean real homes tied to local jobs. If you care about who gets to live here, ask at the meeting how those two workforce units will be priced and who will qualify (renter versus ownership, income limits, and whether they will stay deed-restricted long term).
