Planning Commission training spotlights Article 8, how projects get approved
Teton County staff will walk the Planning Commission through Article 8, the county’s development review and approval rules, in a board training led by Keith Gingery, Chris Neubecker and Ryan Hostetter.
If you have ever wondered why some projects sail through staff review while others land in front of the Planning Commission, this training is the rulebook. On May 11, county staff will give the Planning Commission an Article 8 presentation, the section of the Land Development Regulations that governs how applications are submitted, reviewed, noticed and approved or denied.
The agenda lists Keith Gingery, Chris Neubecker and Ryan Hostetter as presenters. For commuters like me who mostly experience growth as more cars at the Y and tighter parking in town, this kind of nuts and bolts session matters because it shapes what gets built, and how fast.
