County tees up $100 24-hour liquor catering permit for RMEF event

Teton County commissioners are being asked to approve a 24-hour catering permit for The Liquor Store / Southern Hospitality to serve alcohol at the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation event at the fairgrounds, a $100 county fee.

If you are catering a one-night fundraiser, the county’s 24-hour alcohol permit is still a straight $100 add-on to your event budget. A clerk’s staff report asks commissioners to approve a 24-hour catering permit for The Liquor Store / Southern Hospitality for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation event at the Teton County Fairgrounds, 390 W. Karns Ave., on May 16, 2026.

The application is routine, staff recommends approval, and the fiscal impact is simply the $100 permit fee for FY25-26. The details are in the packet: BCC Staff Report and Attachment, Catering Permit (Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation).
