County has an employee housing sublease on Tuesday’s agenda

A county employee housing item is on Tuesday’s consent agenda, but the public agenda does not say the rent, the unit size, the employee eligibility rules, or how long the sublease would run. Commissioners are scheduled to consider an “Employee Sub Lease Agreement for 400 W Snow King Ave” during Matters from Commission and Staff, according to the May 19 county agenda.

That matters because one worker unit is not an abstract line item here. It can mean the difference between staying in the valley and adding another commute, another job, or another roommate. If the county is using public time to approve employee housing, we should be able to see the basic terms before the vote.
