Town, county set FY27 budget workshop as special joint meeting May 12

A special joint meeting agenda puts Jackson’s Town Council and the Teton County Commission back in the same room to do one thing, the FY27 joint budget workshop. The session is set for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 12 at 200 S. Willow St., chaired by Commission Chair Mark Newcomb, per the Special Joint Meeting agenda.

Procedurally, this is the early sorting table. Before either body gets to formal adoption later in the budget calendar, this workshop is where line items get flagged, staff get directed to come back with revisions, and any cross jurisdiction cost sharing questions get aired in public.

Public participation is set up as a Zoom webinar (ID 891 5753 6782) in addition to the live stream, and the only scheduled item beyond roll call is a linked “FY27 Joint Department/Division Budget Review” packet.
