Altamont Lot 9 building-envelope replat pulled from May 5 docket

A planned May 5 hearing on SD2026-0001—seeking to shift the building envelope on Altamont Subdivision Lot 9—has been withdrawn by the applicant, county staff told commissioners.

In the aspen-and-sage mosaic on the west side of the valley, building envelopes are where disturbance gets concentrated—or spreads out. That’s why even “minor” plats can matter.

A county staff memo says the applicant has withdrawn SD2026-0001, a Subdivision Plat Amendment that would have adjusted the building envelope on Lot 9 in the Altamont Subdivision. The item had been scheduled for the Teton County Board of County Commissioners’ May 5, 2026 meeting, but staff told the board the memo is informational only and no action is required.
