CRC of Teton Valley seeks $20k from Teton County for FY27 crisis aid

A FY27 Health & Human Services staff report (dated April 27, 2026) tees up a $20,000 request from the Community Resource Center of Teton Valley to support emergency assistance and case management for Teton Valley households tied to Teton County, WY jobs.

Teton County is reviewing a FY2027 Health & Human Services funding request from the Community Resource Center of Teton Valley (CRCTV), which is seeking $20,000—all from the county, none from the Town of Jackson—according to a new staff report: Community Resource Center of Teton Valley Funding Request Staff Report.

CRCTV’s application breaks the ask into line items that add up to $20,000, led by $10,000 for “Crisis Services” (rent, utilities, transportation, and other “vital expenses”), plus smaller amounts for utilities stability, transportation support, and basic-needs supports (food, health, legal, dental, employment). The organization says it provided over $60,000 in emergency financial aid in 2025 through its “Quality of Life” funds and also runs no-questions-asked programs like food rescue, firewood, and a home-goods pantry.

What’s notable for Teton County taxpayers: CRCTV is based in Driggs and primarily serves Teton Valley, but it argues there’s a direct cross-pass workforce connection. The report says 12% of the 252 unique households served in 2025 either worked in Teton County, WY or had a spouse/partner who did. For that subset, CRCTV reports $9,502 in emergency assistance distributed on behalf of Teton County workers last year—often tied to housing help (65% of those clients) and transportation-related costs (35%).
