Teton commissioners to weigh $19k FY27 request for Leadership Jackson Hole

Leadership Jackson Hole is requesting $9,500 each from Teton County and the Town of Jackson for FY2027 community-development support. County commissioners are scheduled to consider the request in their April 27 meeting packet.

Leadership Jackson Hole, run through UW Extension in Teton County, is asking for $9,500 from Teton County and $9,500 from the Town of Jackson (total $19,000) for FY2027 community-development funding, according to a county staff report in the April 27 Board of County Commissioners packet. The application lists an annual budget of $27,000 and says participants also pay a $400 fee. (BCC Staff Report — Leadership Jackson Hole Community Development Funding Application)

The program description says Leadership Jackson Hole consists of nine full-day sessions from September through May, plus additional “community based experiences,” board visits, public-hearing attendance, and a trip to the Wyoming Legislature. The request would cover the same purpose for both town and county funding; the application also lists $10,000 in non-cash support as meeting space.
