Teton commissioners to award $24,500 Miller Park pickleball-court resurfacing bid

Teton County commissioners will consider an April 21 Notice of Award to Altitude Athletic Surfaces to resurface and repair the Miller Park pickleball courts. The low bid is $24,500—about half the next-lowest offer—and would be paid from the Parks & Rec fund balance.

Teton County’s Board of County Commissioners is scheduled on April 21 to consider awarding a $24,500 contract to Altitude Athletic Surfaces LLC (Englewood, Colorado) to resurface and repair the pickleball courts at Miller Park in Jackson. The action item is a Notice of Award for the “lowest responsive and responsible bidder,” per the county staff report in the April 21 agenda packet.

Parks and Recreation advertised the project in February and received five bids. Altitude Athletic Surfaces’ $24,500 bid was the lowest; the next-lowest was $39,059 (Renner Sports), with other bids ranging up to $49,198.

The scope includes pressure-washing and crack repair, applying a Plexipave resurfacer plus two color coats, and re-striping pickleball lines. The contract proposal also calls for removing and disposing of existing net posts and footings, then installing new net sleeves, Douglas net posts and new pickleball nets. The county says the project is included in the FY26 budget and will be paid from the jointly owned Parks and Recreation fund balance. The packet does not list a specific construction schedule or court-closure dates.
