Teton commissioners award 2026 fair rodeo stock contract to Diamond H
On April 7, county commissioners approved awarding the 2026 Teton County Fair rodeo stock contractor agreement to Diamond H Rodeo for up to $25,000, with options to renew for 2027–2028 at 2% annual increases.
Teton County’s Board of County Commissioners voted April 7 to award the 2026 Teton County Fair rodeo stock contractor contract to Diamond H Rodeo for $23,000 plus up to $2,000 for mini bulls (not to exceed $25,000). The agreement also gives the county the option to renew for up to two additional years (2027 and 2028), with the total price increasing 2% per year if renewed, subject to annual appropriation. Fair staff said the request for proposals was advertised Jan. 21 and Jan. 28, with a Feb. 2 deadline. Two proposals were received: Jackson Hole Rodeo and Diamond H Rodeo. A Fair Rodeo Committee interviewed both firms and scored them using individual rubrics; staff reported a compiled total of 1,074 points for Diamond H versus 640 for Jackson Hole Rodeo.
