Town, county appoint Sidney Roubin to Travel & Tourism board through 2029

Teton County commissioners and the Jackson Town Council voted March 17, 2026, to appoint Sidney Roubin to the Jackson Hole Travel & Tourism Board for a partial term ending June 30, 2026, followed by a three-year term through June 30, 2029.

Teton County commissioners and the Jackson Town Council voted in a March 17 special joint meeting to appoint Sidney Roubin to the Travel & Tourism Board for the remainder of a term ending June 30, 2026, and then to a full three-year term expiring June 30, 2029, according to the meeting minutes. The votes were unanimous for both bodies.

The appointment came after the two elected boards interviewed nine applicants for the Travel & Tourism seat: Pam Gumport, Adamo Vullo, Bob Frodeman, Joshua Preston (via Zoom), John Beye, Lee Bauknight, Bryan Dunn, Sidney Roubin and Malyna Si.

The joint boards recessed into executive session under the state’s public-officer appointment exception, then returned to open session to make the appointment motions. Travel & Tourism Executive Director Crista Valentino participated in the interview portion and answered questions.
