BCC log shows April emails on airport expansion, ARFF/ops facility siting
Teton County commissioners’ April 7 correspondence report logged new public emails raising concerns about Jackson Hole Airport expansion and the siting of an ARFF/operations facility, alongside other planning and public-works topics.
Teton County’s Board of County Commissioners included a “direct correspondence” log in its April 7 meeting packet that highlights a fresh round of public emails on high-profile community issues — including the proposed Jackson Hole Airport expansion and disputes over where to locate a new ARFF (Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting) and airport operations facility.
The correspondence detail lists a March 12 email from Neil Rudo on “Proposed Expansion at the Jackson Hole airport,” and a March 10 email from Ken Horner and Liz Dyer about the “Proposed Location of the ARFF and Operations Facilities,” among 14 items received in March. Other messages referenced a Virginia Lane housing item, the PUD2025-0003 process (including an email from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort CEO Doug Pierini), Wilson lighting questions, spring pathways maintenance, and a U.S. 26/89/191 ("390") improvement topic. (The correspondence log does not include the full text of the emails.)
The log is informational — it records what commissioners received, but it does not document decisions or staff direction. Residents wanting their message in the commissioners’ public record can email commissioners@tetoncountywy.gov or comment during meetings. See: Correspondence detail (Apr. 7, 2026).
