Town, county fill seats on START, Parks & Rec, Housing Supply, ECW and Airport boards

In a Jan. 26 special joint meeting, Jackson’s Town Council and Teton County commissioners voted 4-0 (town) and unanimously (county) to make a slate of volunteer-board appointments affecting transit, parks, housing policy, energy programs and airport oversight.

Jackson’s Town Council and the Teton County Board of County Commissioners voted Jan. 26 to appoint and reappoint members to several joint volunteer boards after conducting interviews and meeting in executive session. The actions were taken unanimously by the county and 4-0 by the town, according to the joint proceedings. See: Joint meeting proceedings, Jan. 26, 2026.

For the Jackson/Teton County Affordable Housing Supply Board, electeds reappointed Carrie Kruse and appointed Katy Hollbacher, both to three-year terms expiring Dec. 31, 2028. For the Parks & Recreation Board, they reappointed Jill Baldauf and appointed Seth Fetters, also to three-year terms expiring Dec. 31, 2028.

For Energy Conservation Works (ECW), they appointed Jessica Kellett and Bear Prairie to partial terms expiring June 30, 2026 and June 30, 2027, respectively. For the START Board, they reappointed Ty Hoath and appointed Steven Grossman to three-year terms expiring Dec. 31, 2028.

Electeds also appointed John P. Carey to the Jackson Hole Airport Board for a five-year term expiring Feb. 1, 2031. The meeting itself was open to the public but not livestreamed; audio recordings are available on request, per the meeting notice in the proceedings.
