Teton County lists five pending 2026 special-event permits at April 6 meeting

At its April 6 voucher meeting, the Teton County Commission will provide informational notice of five pending 2026 special-event permits, including the Jackson Hole Half Marathon, SAVOR and the July 4 Skinny Skis 10K.

Teton County commissioners will publicly list five pending special-event permit applications during their April 6 voucher meeting — an informational agenda section with no vote, but a chance for the public to see what event organizers are requesting as the county’s permit review moves forward. The list appears under “Special Events Permits – Applications Pending” in the Board of County Commissioners Meeting Agenda.

According to the agenda, the pending permits include:

  • Jackson Hole Half Marathon & 5K (June 13, 2026) — a 13.1-mile run/walk and family 5K described as running “Teton Village to Phil Baux Park,” with 500 attendees listed.
  • SAVOR (June 27, 2026) — a Jackson Hole Food & Wine event at Mead Ranch, with 450 attendees listed.
  • Skinny Skis 4th of July 10K (July 4, 2026) — starting on Wilson Square Rd across from Owen Bircher Park in Wilson, with 173 attendees listed.
  • Soiree at the Springs (July 14, 2026) — an Astoria Park Conservancy fundraiser, with 130 attendees listed.
  • 46th Annual Cache to Game Creek Trail Run (July 25, 2026) — described as running West Cache Creek Drive to Game Creek Trailhead, with 76 attendees listed.

The county’s agenda includes instructions for submitting comment during the meeting via Zoom phone (*9 to raise a hand) and by email to commissioners@tetoncountywy.gov. While the April 6 item is “for informational purposes, no action taken,” residents who anticipate traffic/parking impacts along the listed routes may want to track the permit process and raise concerns early.
