Teton commissioners set April 7 hearing on motion to dismiss Willowbrook appeal

Teton County’s board will hold a special meeting April 7 for a contested-case hearing on a motion to dismiss Docket #2026-0001, an appeal filed by the Willowbrook Owners Association against the county Planning Director.

The Teton County Board of County Commissioners will hold a special meeting April 7 at 1:30 p.m. to conduct a contested-case hearing on a motion to dismiss in Docket #2026-0001, Willowbrook Owners Association vs. Teton County Planning Director.

The agenda notice says the meeting is open to the public but will not be livestreamed; the clerk’s office will provide audio recordings upon request. The hearing’s immediate question is whether the appeal is dismissed at this stage. If the board grants the motion, the Planning Director’s underlying decision would generally remain in effect unless further appealed in court; if the motion is denied, the contested case would continue on a schedule set by the board/hearing officer.

The county’s posted materials for the special meeting are limited to the agenda notice and do not include the motion, response filings, or the underlying Planning Director decision being appealed. Residents who want to follow the case in detail may need to request the filings from the clerk’s office or ask the county to post a packet alongside the meeting notice.
