Visit Jackson Hole seeks PR agency with $50K annual cap; award due May 14
Visit Jackson Hole’s joint-powers board is taking proposals for a public-relations agency (deadline April 15) for a July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027 contract, with an annual services budget capped at $50,000 and up to two one-year renewals.
Visit Jackson Hole (the destination brand managed by the Jackson Hole Travel & Tourism Joint Powers Board) is soliciting proposals for a public-relations agency to handle media inquiries and earned-media outreach, with responses due by 4 p.m. April 15. The RFP sets an annual budget cap of $50,000 for PR services (marketing production and media trips are budgeted separately). The scope includes triaging and responding to incoming media requests; pitching story angles to targeted outlets; coordinating and curating media experiences with local hospitality/activity partners; maintaining media lists; running earned-media campaigns (press releases, interviews, press conferences); and crisis communications support including rapid-response messaging and stakeholder communications. The agency must also submit vouchers and documentation consistent with Teton County financial reporting, with reimbursement after approval by the JHTTB. RFP.
The contract term runs July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, with options for two additional one-year renewals and a 30-day termination clause. The schedule in the RFP lists May 14 for notification of award, June 11 for approval of the final contract, and July 1 for the start date.
