Staff said the library sought bids for four door openers, received three prospects, and ultimately received one bid. Total project funding was presented as $25,619 from the library’s capital reserve (noted as budgeted at about $25,000). The board approved the lower contract amount and discussed limiting the initial work to one of two restroom doors as the accessible door for now, with the option to reevaluate later.
