Teton County posts four summer 2026 special-event permits as 'pending'

In a March 9 voucher-meeting agenda, Teton County commissioners listed four special-event permit applications as pending, including Rendezvous Music Festival (March 28) and three summer races. The agenda notes the list is informational only, with no action taken.

Teton County’s Board of County Commissioners used its March 9 voucher-meeting agenda to publicly list four special-event permit applications pending for 2026, ranging from a large concert in Teton Village to smaller running events in Wilson. The agenda labels the permits as “for informational purposes, no action taken.”

The pending applications listed were: Jackson Hole Rendezvous Music Festival (March 28; G7 Entertainment Marketing on behalf of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort; JHMR parking lot; estimated 4,500 attendees), Teton Adaptive Run, Roll, & Ride (June 13; Stagecoach Bar, Wilson; estimated 125 attendees), 46th Annual Cache to Game Creek Trail Run (July 25; West Cache Creek Drive to Game Creek Trailhead; estimated 76 attendees), and Skinny Skis 4th of July 10K (July 4; Wilson Square Rd near Owen Bircher Park; estimated 173 attendees).

What’s still missing from the public packet is the county’s usual permit detail: route/traffic-control plans, parking and transit assumptions, amplified-sound limits, neighborhood notification requirements, and any mitigation conditions (like law-enforcement staffing, sanitation, or emergency access). Those details typically appear when a permit is formally scheduled for a vote.

Residents who want to weigh in can submit comment to the commissioners in advance of any future permit action via commissioners@tetoncountywy.gov, the email address published on the March 9 agenda. Sources: Board of County Commissioners Meeting Agenda.
