Teton County Library Board to review strategic-plan metrics March 19
The Teton County Library Board meets March 19 to review a progress/metrics dashboard tied to its 2023–27 Strategic Direction and discuss next steps for ongoing reporting and priorities.
The Teton County Library Board of Directors is scheduled to review progress reporting tied to the library’s 2023–2027 Strategic Direction at its March 19 meeting, using a work-plan “progress data/metrics” chart that tracks initiatives across four priorities: Community, Lifelong Learning, Spaces and Organizational Excellence (Library Board Meeting Agenda).
The progress report functions as an internal dashboard: it lists specific projects (with owner(s), priority level and start/end dates) and shows milestone-style status updates across multiple check-in points, including a “February progress 2026” snapshot. Examples highlighted in the report include creating an Outreach Librarian position; purchasing a van for outreach/delivery; translating key documents into Spanish/using website translation tools; building out makerspace/media lab programming; and website redesign work (Strategic Plan Progress Data Metrics Report).
Board members will also receive a strategic-direction presentation that frames how the library intends to evaluate progress — emphasizing SMART goals and regular review of both outputs (such as circulation statistics, program attendance and public technology use) and outcomes (including community surveys) (Library Board Strategic Plan Presentation). The agenda notes the current plan covers 2023–2027 and flags a “future/next steps” discussion for how the board wants progress reporting and targets handled going forward (Library Board Meeting Agenda).
