Lodging Tax Board set to extend JHRR fulfillment contract to June 2027

At its March 12 meeting, the Jackson Hole Travel & Tourism Joint Powers Board will consider a one-year extension of its “fulfillment services” agreement with Jackson Hole Resort Reservations, with a commitment to issue an RFP next year and end extensions after June 30, 2027.

The Jackson Hole Travel & Tourism Joint Powers Board (the Lodging Tax Board) will vote March 12 on a second amendment extending its agreement with Jackson Hole Resort Reservations (JHRR) for “fulfillment services” through June 30, 2027. The agreement covers JHRR assistance in booking airfare, lodging and activities tied to the board’s destination-marketing efforts. (See: Lodging Tax Board Meeting Agenda and Second Amendment to Agreement for Fulfillment Services.)

The amendment notes the underlying agreement was signed June 28, 2023, and that the board has already used two one-year extensions (in 2024 and 2025), with the current term set to expire June 30, 2026. The proposed action would add one more year.

The amendment also includes a policy commitment: the board says it will put the contract out for a request for proposals (RFP) “in the next year,” and that there will be no further extensions beyond June 30, 2027.
