Teton County OKs Montana Road sewer easement for church employee housing
On March 3, the Teton County Commission approved a permanent easement across county-owned Montana Road so the Presbyterian Church of Jackson Hole can install a sewer connection for its planned employee-housing project at 1201 S. Park Loop Road.
Teton County commissioners on March 3 approved a permanent, non-exclusive sewer easement across a county-owned parcel encompassing Montana Road, allowing the Presbyterian Church of Jackson Hole to install sewer infrastructure serving its planned employee-housing development at 1201 S. Park Loop Road. The project site is inside the Town of Jackson, and the church plans to connect to the town’s sewer system north of the site, requiring a line to cross county-owned Montana Road.
The easement agreement requires the church to restore any disturbed road, pathway and soil areas after installation or maintenance, including rebuilding subbase/base and asphalt surface courses where needed, with restoration subject to county Public Works approval. County staff reported no fiscal impact to the county, with the church responsible for road repairs tied to the sewer installation.
