START board weighs dropping airport shuttle, Teton Village South in FY27 draft plan

The Southern Teton Area Rapid Transit (START) board discussed a draft FY27 service plan on Feb. 26 that included a recommendation to discontinue both the Airport Shuttle and the Teton Village South route, with the stated intent of reallocating resources to other parts of the system. The discussion was part of the board’s broader FY27 budget and service-level presentation.
In a separate action item at the same meeting, the board also handled routine governance matters, including approving its meeting schedule as presented in the packet. The FY27 service-plan discussion did not appear as a stand-alone vote on the agenda, but was included within the board’s scheduled budget/service-level discussion block.
