Commissioners set workshop on 90 Virginian Lane buyer and renter priority rules

Teton County’s Board of County Commissioners scheduled a March 3 workshop discussion on “pre-purchase rights” and “rights of first rental” for the 90 Virginian Lane workforce housing development, according to the commissioners’ weekly calendar. The workshop was listed for 1:30 p.m. and set for 90 minutes.

The discussion is expected to focus on how initial access to the project’s for-sale and rental units will be prioritized—policy choices that can affect who gets first opportunity to buy or lease deed-restricted homes. The workshop topic appeared as a stand-alone item on the commissioners’ March 2–6 schedule.
